A stress-free shoot
It is every production houses dream to have a well-organised, worry- and stress-free
shoot, something our experienced and professional unit managers have been doing
for years. 
Sitewise
has some of Southern Africa's most experienced unit managers on its books, all of whom have
been in the film industry for a minimum of 5 years. Our unit managers
are fully responsible to both the location owner and the production house.
At Sitewise, unit management includes all correspondence with the applicable
authorities, location owners, neighbours and Cape Film Commission as well as
the obtaining of the relevant permissions to film. Many of our unit managers
are also experienced location scouts and line producers, which serves as an
extra benefit to production houses.
 On the job training
Our unit assistants have all been provided with
on the job training by our unit managers and have code 10 driving license.
They are capable and experienced enough to manage the film set and the location
should the unit manager have to leave the set for any reason.
Their performance is constantly monitored and corrected in order for them to
reach the high standard that Sitewise expects of them. The advantage of employing
a Sitewise unit assistant is that he will be totally responsible for the unit
gear, vehicle and ablution facilities. The production house will therefore not
be held responsible for losses.
Full responsibility
Sitewise has a 24-hour a day, seven day a week support system in place with
equipment rental and other assistance which may be required unexpectedly or
at short notice. A warehouse assistant or manager will always be on duty after
hours in order to provide this service. Our unit managers take full responsibility
for the unit and the location in such a manner that future visits to the same
locations will be welcomed. This is very important should relations with location
owners, Cape Film Office and the public be maintained.
Rates
Daily and weekly rates of unit managers and unit assistants vary between R 550
00 and R 1 200 00, depending on their experience and the seniority. Rates can

Full unit packages
Sitewise has a number of full unit packages available for rental to its own
unit managers, production houses or independent unit managers. This includes unit sprinters, unit gear and toilets. Full unit packages
are tailored for TV commercials, feature films or for studios depending on the
needs of the production house.
 Special services
Individual Film Production Support equipment such as generators, radios, Eezee
shades, props and medical boxes, directors chairs and much more, are also available
for rental. If the equipment you need is not available, we will source it for you. Sitewise works in close association
and also shares warehousing premises with Felix Unite Tented Camps, enabling
us to provide special services and equipment not normally provided by Film Production
Support Companies.

The season’s price list is updated on 1 September annually. Weekly and out of season prices
are negotiable and available on request.
Equipment
A full time warehouse manager and assistant are employed to maintain, repair,
clean and service the equipment. Before going out, each item of equipment is
carefully checked and tested to ensure that it is in working order. Sitewise will replace or repair any
defective equipment to ensure that the shooting schedule is not compromised.
An after-hours and week-end equipment rental as well as a delivery service is
available on request. A call out and delivery fee will be applicable.
